Unlike most of our site, nothing on this page is processor-verified. These are company statements, each linked with its date. We did not estimate any revenue number; the one per-agent figure below is our own division of two company figures and is labelled as such. For businesses whose payment data we can check, see the verified AI revenue leaderboard.

What is Podium's AI revenue?

Over $150M in AI-specific annual recurring revenue as of Oct 22, 2026, the company announced. That counts only its AI agents, not the messaging, payments and reviews software Podium has sold since 2014. Podium says the AI business reached $150M in two and a half years, while its original software took eight years to reach the same mark. ARR is a run rate (recent recurring revenue × 12), not audited yearly revenue.

By Podium's own numbers, AI agent ARR went from over $100M (Jan 21, 2026) to over $150M (Oct 22, 2026): at least $50M added in about nine months. Both are "more than" figures, so the exact growth is unknown. In a January interview, the CEO said about half of the first $100M came from existing customers upgrading and half from new customers (Fortt Knox, Jan 22, 2026, AI-assisted interview summary).

What do Podium's AI agents actually do?

The jobs a busy front desk drops. Per the press release, the agents answer calls, respond to leads, book appointments, follow up with customers and spot chances to sell more. Podium sells them to car dealerships, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and garage door contractors, med spas and health clinics. It is now building scheduling, dispatch and patient-record software around the agents, so they can act inside the systems those businesses already use.

The CEO's case for it, in his January post: local businesses' biggest problem isn't software, it's staff. He cited 75% annual turnover, 30% of leads arriving after hours, and missed calls that can cost $20,000+ each (company claims). OpenAI's customer story reports that Podium customers saw 30% more revenue and 45% better lead conversion on average (company-reported, not independently checked).

How much does Podium make per AI agent?

Podium doesn't publish prices: its pricing page (read Oct 23, 2026) says to talk to sales, and sells the AI agent as an add-on to any plan. As a rough guide only: over $150M of ARR across over 20,000 deployed agents works out to about $7,500 per agent a year, or about $625 a month (our division; both inputs are "more than" figures). In January the same math gave about $10,000 per agent a year ($100M+ over 10,000+ agents). Agents doubled while ARR rose about 50%, which suggests newer agents are smaller or cheaper, but Podium hasn't said.

What does Podium's growth mean for your business?

In our read, it's the clearest sign yet that small businesses will pay for AI that does a job, not AI that chats. Answering the phone after hours and booking the appointment is easy to price, because the owner can count the jobs it books. If you're working out how to automate your business with AI, lead follow-up and booking are where the money is showing up.

It's also a model you can copy at small scale. A few businesses in our data sell AI agents to other businesses, with verified revenue:
