What does the "work" look like?
- Nutria (Calyra): Organic TikTok via a batch of 100+ creators posting twice a day (founder statement).
- Boothie: TikTok carousels posted by about a dozen persona accounts across the US, Germany and Turkey (founder statement).
- White Glove Content: Productized service at three price points ($54/$124/$284 per month), month-to-month, $0 setup.
- Adelante: Done-for-you positioning: "we set up your AI support, then we run it".

Is AI passive income real?
Not in our data. None of the 50 AI businesses we track runs itself: each has a named channel that someone works (TikTok creator networks, Meta Ads, SEO, X posts, outbound) or a service that is delivered every month. AI lowers the cost of the work; it doesn't remove it.
Can AI make money while you sleep?
Software and subscriptions can bill while you sleep; the businesses here still need ongoing product, support and marketing work to keep subscribers. We know of no verified business where the work stopped and the revenue kept growing.
Are AI passive income courses a scam?
We can't judge individual courses. Our rule: ask for processor-verified revenue (e.g. via TrustMRR) and what the work actually is. Anything promising income without work for an upfront fee deserves suspicion.
